When I was a kid, Tom and Jerry were part of my daily story. I can't call it a day without a glimpse of that cartoon series! It's like, without them, it's a bad day, and when I see them, it's beyond being happy! Simply, they're always part of my day!

Since my childhood days, life hasn't been that gentle. Although I'm too young to be that perplexed by life, I really was a problematic child. I rarely go outside or go somewhere away from home with friends because I'm too afraid to get scolded by my parents. So I spent my time more at home, doing the chores, especially taking good care of my little siblings. Unlike my brothers, who can just freely wander at a distance, I can't! Yes, I was jealous of how brave and hardheaded they were, but I think I needed to keep being the good one. Don't get me wrong, but I also had those times that I didn't hesitate to run with friends despite the expected ending of my day. I got castigated! That was pure bravery!

After a long day, before the sun sets, it's time for Tom and Jerry to show up!

We had no TV, but our neighbor did have one! So all the kids got in and we watched it together. With that, we were able to spend quality time together, and that made us coalesce. A happy ending indeed. I can still recall the big smiles and loud laughs that we all shared in front of the television. A story for keeps.

Tom and Jerry didn't just make me laugh, but it also inspired me to become successful. To dream! One episode, one dream.

After years and years of wishing to have our own TV, it finally happened! One of the happiest moments of my life! However, behind that granted wish was a story of reality. I hold no grudge, but I won't ever forget that. My Lolo bought that for me because I was weeping so hard. That's funny and embarrassing, but seriously, I'm really grateful to Lolo. Lolo is the best!

After that insane backstory, Mama bought a Tom and Jerry disk and that made me feel ecstatic! A dream come true! From watching it at someone else's home, I can finally watch it more comfortably at home with my siblings! That moment was a treasure and something that I would want to do again and again, even on different dimensions.

Tom and Jerry will always be a part of me and I will forever be in love with those moments they did make possible together with my friends, siblings, and family.
